Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest mountain in the world at 8,126 meters (26,660 ft) and is located in the Himalayas range in Pakistan. Known as the 'Killer Mountain', it presents numerous technical challenges and has a rich history of famous mountaineering expeditions. The mountain has several climbing routes, but the traditional route is the Rakhiot Flank on the East Ridge.
