Broad Peak is the 12th highest mountain in the world, standing at 8,051 meters (26,414 ft), and is located in the Karakoram range. It is known for its spectacular summit ridge, which is nearly 2 km (1.2 miles) long, and provides climbers with unforgettable views. The normal route to the summit is via the West Ridge.
