The Zarafshan Mountain Range is a subrange of the Tian Shan chain, running through western Uzbekistan. The range offers an array of spectacular trails for avid hikers, varying from accessible day hikes to challenging multi-day excursions. The highest peak in the range, Chimtarga (5,489 meters), is a challenging and rewarding summit for experienced mountaineers.
