Located on the border of China and Kyrgyzstan, Muztagh Ata is a popular peak among climbers who are seeking a challenging high-altitude adventure but with less technical difficulty than some of the other major peaks in the region. At 7,546 meters (24,757 feet) in elevation, it is one of the world's top 50 highest mountains and has a long history of mountaineering.
