Longshan Temple, situated in the heart of Taipei, is one of the oldest and most famous temples in Taiwan. The temple was built in 1738 and is dedicated to Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy. It features intricate stone and wood carvings and is an important center for religious and cultural activities.
