Ma'loula is a beautiful mountain village located in the Rif Dimashq Governorate of Syria. It is one of the last places where the ancient Aramaic language, the language of Jesus Christ, is still spoken. The village is also home to the historic Mar Sarkis Monastery, which dates back to the 4th century AD and is dedicated to Saints Sergius and Bacchus.
