Rythem de Salone is a Sierra Leone-based Krio reggae band featuring lead singer and songwriter Ahmad Tejan Jalloh alias Janka Nabay. The band merges traditional Sierra Leonean rhythms with contemporary reggae sounds, creating a unique blend that highlights the rich musical heritage of Sierra Leone. Janka Nabay is known as the 'King of Bubu,' an ancient, hypnotic style of music that originated from the country's Temne people.
