Scale the 4,127-meter (13,540 feet) high Mount Muhabura, an inactive volcanic mountain located on the border of Uganda and Rwanda. Despite being the third highest peak within Volcanoes National Park, the trek up to the summit of Mount Muhabura is one of the most challenging, usually taking between 5-8 hours. Hikers will be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including neighboring volcanic peaks and numerous lakes.
