Visit León Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site built between 1747 and 1814. The cathedral is a masterpiece of neoclassical and baroque-style architecture, richly decorated with paintings, sculptures and art. It is the largest cathedral in Central America and holds the remains of the poet Rubén Darío, considered the father of modernism in Latin America.
