El Nevado de Colima is a dormant volcano and the sixth highest peak in Mexico at 14,015 ft (4,271 m). Located within the Nevado de Colima National Park, this mountain provides a beautiful setting for climbing and hiking, as well as breathtaking views of its more active neighbor, Volcán de Colima. While the ascent is non-technical, be prepared for some steep slopes and loose scree.
