The Ggantija Temples in Gozo are a UNESCO World Heritage site, dating back to 3600–3200 BC, which makes them older than the Pyramids of Egypt and Stonehenge. These megalithic temples provide an insight into the prehistoric culture and religious beliefs of the ancient Maltese inhabitants.
