The Moorish Barracks is an elegant 19th-century building with distinctive Moorish architectural influences. It was originally designed to accommodate Portuguese soldiers from the colony of Goa in India, and now houses the offices of the Maritime Administration of Macau. The barracks feature beautiful arched galleries and a picturesque courtyard.
