Issyk Kul Lake is the second-largest alpine lake in the world surrounded by the Tien Shan Mountains. Its name translates to 'hot lake' as it never freezes even during the coldest winters. The lake and its surrounding areas are excellent for activities such as swimming, sunbathing, fishing, and hiking.
