Samburu National Reserve, located in Samburu County, is known for its arid landscapes and a rich variety of wildlife, including the Samburu Special Five: Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. The reserve also hosts large populations of elephants and big cats, as well as over 450 bird species.
