Yalda Night, also known as Shab-e Yalda or Shab-e Chelleh, is an Iranian festivity celebrated on the night of the winter solstice, marking the longest night of the year. Traditional celebrations involve family gatherings, recitation of poetry, storytelling, and feasting on a variety of fruits, nuts, and sweets. The Persians believe that on this night, the arrival of light and the triumph of good over evil are celebrated, as the days begin to grow longer and warmer.
