João Vieira and Poilão Marine National Park is a protected area covering four islands that make up part of the Bijagós Archipelago. This marine park is an important nesting site for the critically endangered Atlantic hawksbill sea turtles, as well as other turtle species. The crystal-clear waters, rich marine life, and coral reefs make it a fantastic spot for snorkeling and diving.
