Qasr Al-Basha, also known as Napoleon's Fort, is a historical site in the city of Gaza, now converted into the Gaza Museum of Archaeology. The site served as a palace for Mamluk governors in the 13th century, and later as the residence of Napoleon Bonaparte during his brief stay in Gaza in 1799. The structure has endured various alterations over time, resulting in an intriguing combination of Mamluk and Ottoman architecture.
