Climb Mount Nyiragongo, an active volcano with an elevation of 11,382 feet (3,470 meters), located in the Virunga National Park. This challenging two-day hike offers the chance to witness the world's largest lava lake at the summit. Overnight stays are in a basic shelter on the mountain.
