El Tatio is a geyser field located in the Andes Mountains of northern Chile, at 4,320 meters above sea level. It's the largest geyser field in the southern hemisphere and the third-largest in the world. Visitors can observe the geysers' stunning eruptions at sunrise when the high altitude and cold temperatures create incredible steam plumes.
