Laguna Colorada, also known as the Red Lagoon, is a shallow salt lake that boasts striking red-colored waters due to the presence of algae and minerals. The lagoon is located within the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve and is a breeding ground for the rare and beautiful Andean flamingos.
