The SS Stavronikita wreck is a popular dive site in Barbados, lying in 120 feet deep water. This Greek freighter was intentionally sunk in 1978 to create an artificial reef and has since become home to diverse marine life. Experienced divers can explore the large, intact structure, including the ship's bridge, cargo holds and engines.
